A 2-day Seminar-Workshop was conducted by Mr. Rene Hinojales to the RCI Program Heads and Coordinators last May 17 & 18, 2024. The workshop expected the participants to: 1.) recognize the basic skills required for a 21st century education; 2.) understand the nature of 21st century skills; 3.) use learning progressions to help students achieve mastery of a particular domain or skill; 4.) create new approaches as a facilitator and motivator; and 5.) capture and report on what students can do. Issues such as instructional effectiveness, curriculum development, leadership and management, technology and innovation, English proficiency and communication were all addressed during the workshop. Seminars and workshops on the enhancement of instruction and professional growth of employees are given utmost importance in Riverside College.
