More Community Linkages for the College of Nursing

Riverside College establishes linkages and partnerships with local, national, regional, and international groups in the pursuit of its vision, mission, and goals. For the month of February, the College of Nursing faculty had been very active in supporting the Medical Missions and Operation Tuli of the Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod and Rotary Club of Blacktown City, Australia in various communities within the province of Negros Occidental. The beneficiaries from Sagay City, Don Salvador Benedicto, Bacolod City and San Enrique have availed of the voluntary healthcare services rendered by the Nursing Clinical Instructors. These volunteers from the College of Nursing also supported another Medical Mission last March 2 at the Municipal Covered Court of La Castellana in partnership with the AY Foundation, the Local Government Unit of La Castellana and the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals. RCI puts value in building relationships with external linkages and this aligns with RCI’s mission of developing leaders and professionals, ready to render healthcare services anchored on Lux et Caritas (Light and Charity) with partner communities.
