The newly renovated laboratory rooms of the Colleges of Radiologic Technology, Physical Therapy and Medical Technology were blessed and inaugurated last March 23, 2024. The laboratories have been improved with the latest acquisitions of learning equipment. This aligns with the thrust of Riverside College in preparing st u d e n t s t o b e c o m e reality-based and work-ready professionals.
The College of Radiologic Technology has acquired a new Portable X-Ray Machine, an Ultrasound Device, and a Disarticulated Bone Model. The Whole-Body Pixy Model will be delivered soon.
The College of Physical Therapy has also acquired the following equipment and facilities: an ES machine, a Pediatric Walker, a plastinated Superficial Muscle of the Lower Limb, and a Disarticulated Human Skeleton Model. Biofeedback and Cold Laser have also been purchased.
The College of Medical Technology renovated its laboratory rooms with an additional area for a Molecular Biology Laboratory. They also purchased the following equipment: the Biosafety Hood Level 2, Spectrophotometer, Chemistry Analyzer and Hematology Analyzer.
All these improvements in the laboratory rooms are expected to enhance the students’ learning as future medical professionals. Renovations of laboratory rooms consider the students’ safety, and a space for maximum efficiency to increase productivity.
