Bachelor of Science
in Pharmacy

Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is a four-year degree program that equips students with a broad spectrum of training essential to produce professionals who can effectively communicate specialized knowledge on safe and effective medication use to patients.

It prepares students for employment in higher education institutions, community drug stores, hospitals, government agencies, research establishments, public health, and the pharmaceutical industry. They may also choose to continue with Medical education courses with an edge as they become competent and knowledgeable in biochemical mechanisms and actions of drugs, therapeutic roles, side effects, potential drug interactions, and monitoring parameters.

 

PROGRAM OUTPUT

  1. Ready to demonstrate responsible citizenship and pride in being a Filipino and adopt the nursing core values in the profession.
  2. Ready to demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and verbal skills in providing high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care in cooperation with patients, prescribers, and members of the interprofessional healthcare team.
  3. Ready to demonstrate the ability to use critical analysis and problem-solving skills to provide high-quality, evidence-based pharmacy services and patient care.
  4. Ready to demonstrate self-calibration skills and a commitment to the lifelong learning needed to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.
