8th Senior High School Graduation

Mr. Raymund Carlo Masbaño, PTRP, was the 8th SHS Graduation Rites Guest Speaker last June 13, 2025, held at the Bacolod SMX Convention Center. Mr. Masbaño ranked 1st in the December 2024 Physical Therapy Licensure Examination. He addressed the graduates (6 for ABM, 9 for HUMSS, and 198 for STEM) with his message revolving around his personal experiences as an alumnus of RCI for both his SHS and Tertiary education. Mr. Masbaño expressed his emotions when he got the invitation to be the Guest Speaker stating that he was both surprised and genuinely humbled with the feeling of life going on full circle. He shared that in March 2020, they were not able to have the same graduation experience when the Covid-19 pandemic hit and their batchmates were not able to say goodbye to each other. It seemed like a chapter in their life ended without warning. He challenged the SHS graduating class of 2025 with the following: not to take their graduation for granted but instead, celebrate it; to appreciate the milestone they have achieved before they start chasing a new one; and, to discover the road ahead as they step into college. He inspired the graduates to expect challenges and embrace them because it is not perfection that matters most in life but consistency. He ended his speech by encouraging the graduates to take risk, stay kind, trust God and trust the process.
