“Innovation Guided by Excellence” was the theme for the 65th College Graduation Rites held at the Bacolod SMX Convention Center last June 14, 2025. Mr. Raul C. Pagdanganan, President and CEO of Cardinal Santos Medical Center, addressed the graduates of Class 2025: 10 obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, 4 in Entrepreneurship, 22 in Medical Technology, 276 in Nursing, 32 in Pharmacy, 53 in Psychology, 48 in Physical Therapy and 37 in Radiologic Technology. There were 25 who successfully completed their requirements for the Master in Nursing degree. Ms. Shaianne Kaye R. Castillo from the Business Administration program gave the Valedictory Address as the Magna Cum Laude. There were 17 awardees for Cum Laude and 1 awardee for Academic Excellence. The following programs had their special award for Best Intern: Medical Technology, Psychology, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and Radiologic Technology. Other special awards included the Outstanding Business Management Intern, Outstanding Young Entrepreneur, Special Distinction in Sports, Special Distinction in Service for Community and School, Little Way, Arts, and Service. There were a significant number of awardees for Loyalty and Legacy Awards. The Loyalty Award is given to a graduating student who has repeatedly chosen Riverside College as his educational foundation. The Legacy Award is given to a graduating student whose parent/s is an alumna/alumnus of Riverside College. The PAMET Most Outstanding Medical Technology Graduate Award and the PASMETH Academic Excellence Award were given to Medical Technology graduates who met their respective criteria for excellence. Supernumerary Awardees were given to College of Nursing graduates who were declared National Champions during the Battle of the Nightingales sponsored by the Metro Pacific Health. The Nursing Service Division of the Riverside Medical Center, Inc. also gave recognition to the Nursing graduates who showed clinical excellence. There were 16 other special awardees given by the Riverside Medical Center, Inc. The participants in the Student Nurses Exchange Program with Davao Doctors College were also recognized. The 2024 Topnotchers from the BSPT and BSRT programs were recognized for their exemplary performance in their respective Licensure Examinations.
